Our museum in Philadelphia aims to inspire and educate visitors of all ages and backgrounds about the essential freedoms that have brought innovation and progress to America and the world. Free from political polarization but dedicated to the values we share as Americans, NLM connects history to the modern day, and connects the essential principles of liberty with every one of our visitors. Located in Old City, Philadelphia, our museum sits at the heart of our nation’s history.
With over four floors of permanent galleries and ever-changing exhibitions, the National Liberty Museum explores the meaning of liberty today—through contemporary art that captures the spirit of liberty—yesterday—through the stories of real people from around the world who have done extraordinary things in the name of freedom—and tomorrow—by igniting a passion for these ideals in the generations of the future.

Admission Rates
The National Liberty Museum is pleased to offer Pay-What-You-Wish admission the second Sunday of every month.
Adults: $12
Seniors (65+): $10
Students (with valid ID): $8
Youth (ages 6–17): $6
Children (under 5): Free
Museum Members: Free
Advance tickets are required for entry for groups of over 10 people.
